Meet Ladd

Ladd Johnson

I grew up in Sandy Utah and graduated from Jordan High School. Following two years of missionary service in Brazil I attended BYU where I met my wife Bryn. She finished her degree in Geography with a minor in Spanish and supported me while I finished my bachelor’s degree in Accounting, a master's degree in Accounting and my law degree.

After law school, we moved to the northern Virginia area for 7 years where I started my career as a corporate and business law attorney in Washington DC. We have lived in Draper since 2008 while continuing my career as a partner in a small law firm.

In my career as an attorney, I have spent two decades successfully negotiating "win-win" solutions for complex business transactions. I look forward to putting those negotiating and problem-solving skills to work for Draper and Bluffdale in the legislature.

We love to be involved in the community! Bryn has served extensively in PTA positions at the elementary school, middle school and high school level as well as participating in community councils. I have joined her in PTA positions and have coached recreational soccer and basketball. I also do pro-bono legal work as a private Guardian Ad Litem, representing the interests of the children in difficult divorce cases.

We are the proud parents of five wonderful children, all of whom have graduated from or are attending Corner Canyon High School while participating in many sports and clubs there.
